A Commitment to Employee Excellence

Bob Levy, CEBS

Managing Principal

ROLE: Bob’s leadership at Paradigm Group involves setting the strategic direction for our firm while ensuring each member of our team has the resources necessary to meet all of our clients’ unique benefits and HR needs.

EXPERIENCE: Bob has more than 31 years of experience in the insurance industry. Drawing on his experiences as a leader at Prudential Healthcare, he capitalized on the opportunity to build his own team of talented professionals and started Paradigm Group in 1996.

Before founding Paradigm Group, Bob gained extensive knowledge of the insurance industry as director of marketing for Prudential Healthcare’s Nashville group operations and as a top account executive for Prudential in the Orlando area. During his years at Prudential, Bob recognized the need for a consulting firm that partners with its clients to create workplaces that leverage employee benefits, retirement services and HR consulting strategies as tools to recruit and retain key employees. These ideals together formed the vision for what Paradigm Group is today.

Bob received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in health administration from Duke University. He earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) through the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He previously served on the board for the American Heart Association and as president of the Middle Tennessee Employee Benefits Council (MTEBC).

INTERESTS: Bob enjoys spending time with his family. He has travelled the US, meeting up with friends on golf trips — it’s a toss up between Pebble Beach and Pinehurst as his favorite course. Formally, he served on the Board of Trustees for Temple Ohabai Sholom, was the Chair of the Temple’s Investment Committee, and a member of the Temple’s Executive Committee. At Paradigm Group retreats, watch out if you find yourself on the other side of the ping pong table. You may even see him juggle!
